The Marmitek IR Control 10 Xtra infrared signal transmitter is used to extend the IR (infrared) signals of remote controls, for example to control A / V devices placed in a closed cabinet. This transmitter is distinguished from the Marmitek IR Control 10 transmitter by the addition of two extension cables with blaster LED.
 
The Marmitek IR Control 10 Xtra includes: an IR receiver, an IR module and an IR extension cable with two LED IR emitters and two cables with a blaster LED.
 
The IR receiver receives the infrared commands from the remote control (s) and transmits them to the IR module. The IR module receives infrared commands from the IR receiver, processes them and transmits them to all connected IR extension cables. The IR extension cable receives infrared commands from the IR module and converts them into infrared signals with its LEDs so that the devices can be controlled. Since the IR LEDs have a limited range, they must be placed precisely on the IR window of the device to be controlled. The two cables equipped with a blaster LED offer them a field of action more load and thus allow the control of several devices.
 
The Marmitek IR Control 10 Xtra infrared transmitter allows you to place the various audio-video devices in a closed cabinet and continue to control them with their original remote control. Only the IR receiver should be installed in view of the original remote control (s). A simple, practical and efficient solution for a discreet home cinema installation!
