The Elipson IW14C in-wall loudspeaker belongs to the Elipson Architect In series wall-mounted loudspeaker range. This 2-way model can be powered by the majority of hi-fi and home cinema amplifiers on the market, supporting loudspeakers with an impedance of 8 ohms.
 
The loudspeakers of the Architect series In range from the French manufacturer Elipson are designed for integration into walls and ceilings. Intended for both communities and individuals, they are developed with the same high quality standards as traditional Elipson loudspeakers. The Elipson IW14C built-in loudspeaker can thus be used for many applications: conference rooms, shopping centres, amphitheatres, restaurants, shops, hotels, business premises, schools, high schools, private home-cinema rooms, integrated hi-fi systems, etc. .
 
The Elipson IW14C in-wall loudspeaker is a 2-way model equipped with two 16.5 cm diameter mid-bass drivers with a cellulose fiber cone and a 25 mm diameter silk dome tweeter. This can be swiveled to optimize the distribution of sound towards the listening area, whatever the position of the loudspeaker. Practical, the magnetic grid can be painted for perfect integration.
 
The Elipson IW14C in-wall speaker offers a sensitivity of 87 dB for a maximum admissible power of 100 watts. Its frequency response extends from 75 Hz to 20 kHz, which makes it equally suitable for broadcasting background music and for hi-fi or home cinema use, as a front speaker (left, center and right) and surround back. In hi-fi as in home cinema, the association with a subwoofer is strongly recommended to benefit from a more generous foundation in the bass.
